Project Description

This market study covered 10 Eastern USA ski resorts that were in direct competition with Stratton Mountain in Vermont. The study provided an overview of all the facilities in each resort, analyzing all new real estate development projects and construction phases and highlighting significant regional issues. The final report included a full photographic survey of each resort. Vacation exchange programs were also reviewed. Kodem was hired by Intrawest to analyze these ski resorts. All facets of the competition were analyzed with a particular focus on the competition’s real estate capability, potential, techniques and products.
